We’ve been going orange!

GO-ORANGE-STAFF-BLOGIt’s all to help endangered orang-utans in Borneo.  Sadly 80% of their forest homes have been destroyed in the last thirty years because of the demand for timber and palm oil as well as to build roads and create agricultural land.

The money raised from our orange shenanigans will go to Act for Wildlife who are the charity behind the Go Orange for Orangutans fundraising campaign.  Proceeds from the campaign will be used to help to replant the rainforest .  Trees are vital for the survival of the orangutans, they provide shelter, food and freedom.  Act for wildlife will be planting and taking care of native tree species  in a bid to restore the environment these beautiful animals need to survive.

If you want to get involved you can register at www.actforwildlife.org.uk The campaign is running throughout October so there is still time to get involved
