The Government has committed £150 million for the SuperConnected Cities programme, and if you are based in one of the 22 designated super connected cities then you might qualify for a voucher towards superfast broadband.
Worth up to £3000 the voucher scheme is part of a programme being run by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport to help support SMEs, charities, social enterprises and sole traders.
If you are a freelancer and use the internet from home for work you might be eligible. You have to be based in one of the 22 SuperConnected Cities.
