We are aware that the Government has released [10th December 2013] the consultation and draft legislation on how it intends to challenge abusive onshore employment intermediaries and false self-employment.
While we welcome any new initiative that curtails the activities of rogue providers, it is important to note that this is still only a consultation on draft legislation, which will run until 4th February 2014. Until this time, or when the Government clarifies its position on how it will tighten the rules on how staff provided through an intermediary are regarded, we cannot provide further comment on this consultation other than to say that it is business as usual. We will continue to deliver the highest standards of service while ensuring complete compliance.
