2015 has been an amazing year for Exchequer Solutions and the team here have worked incredibly hard. We’ve received awards, acquired new clients, new staff and even a new company!
The year started well and we were really busy with agencies approaching us about their preferred supplier lists and new contractors signing up for umbrella and CIS services with us.
In February we were named as one of the fastest growing businesses in the region at the prestigious Greater Manchester Fastest50 awards. The awards were held in Manchester and we were the only Chester based company to be included on the list. (Does that make us the fastest growing company in Chester?)
While we were still busy celebrating this success we found out that we had also been included in London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report. The report is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and mid-size enterprises in the UK. To be included on the list companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.
In the summer we became associate members of the FCSA (Freelancer and Contractors Association), the trade association for professional employment services (including umbrella, accountancy and payroll). The association works to protect and support contractors and freelancers and our membership demonstrates our commitment to professionalism and compliance.
2015 was also the year we launched our outsourced payroll service and Exchequer PAYE a solution for our recruitment agency partners paying lower paid workers.
In the Autumn we launched our new sister company Exchequer Accountancy Services. The new company was created following the acquisition of Chartered Accountancy firm Quantic UK and this exciting development means we are offering a specialist service to Limited Company contractors.
The addition of a chartered accountancy business to our portfolio earlier this year means we now provide the full range of services from outsourced payroll, through Umbrella and CIS, to Limited Company services for contractors in a range of industries.
What a year! It’s great to look back and remind ourselves of everything we’ve achieved but we’re already looking forward to 2016 and planning for the future. Here’s to hoping 2016 will be just as exciting and successful!
