In response to demand we have launched a new service to support agencies in managing the employment and payroll of their lower paid workers.
The PAYE service is available for agency workers where the agency pays a rate of at least £8 per hour. This means that we can now support our agency clients by employing their lower paid workers who don’t meet the hourly threshold rate for our umbrella service.
We will employ the worker and they will receive minimum wage and holiday pay, we’ll also take care of all employer liabilities.
For agencies the benefits are clear. Registrations and payroll are outsourced saving on administration and staffing costs. We guarantee a fully compliant service which is delivered at a clear, fixed cost. The new service is ideal for agencies looking to minimise time spent on administration and free their consultants up to spend time on recruiting.
For the contractor there are advantages too. They will benefit from employment status, making it easier to secure a mortgage or loan. They can remain employed by Exchequer when they move contracts so it makes their life easier and qualify for SSP and SMP and other employee benefits. Payments will be made on time and electronic payslips sent out. We will also assist the worker in claiming any allowed tax relief via a completion of a P87 at the end of the Tax Year.
