Talk me through a typical day in the office/work for you?
Every day of the week is different for me. Monday and Tuesday for me is often taken up with meetings and admin and catching up on things. It’s our aim to make sure everyone is paid as soon as possible. Wednesday is my busiest day as that is when we actually run the payroll. I’m here ‘til everyone has been paid so Wednesday often means working late but I don’t mind that as it is so important that everything is done that day. On a Thursday we text everyone confirming they will be paid. Fridays are usually a bit less hectic
What is your favourite part of the job?
I’d have to say the satisfaction on a Friday of knowing everyone has been paid.
If you didn’t work at Exchequer Solutions what would be your dream job?
Working in Borneo with orangutans. I love animals and that would definitely be my dream job.
When you aren’t in work where are most likely to be found?
At home with my cats and tortoise!
Where would your ideal holiday be and why?
Borneo again! It would be a working holiday helping to save the endangered orangutans. I’d be quite happy there camping and out enjoying being with the animals in their natural environment.
