On April 28th our Head of Sales and Account Management, Dale Lewis, will be running the Chester Half Marathon in support of Macmillan Cancer Research.
Sadly, Dale recently lost his Nanna to cancer, through which he witnessed the fantastic support that Macmillan Cancer Support provides to those affected by this life-threatening disease.
As a result, Dale would like to show his support for this wonderful charity by raising awareness and funds so that they can continue to help those affected by the same circumstances now and in the future.
Macmillan Cancer Support was founded in 1911 by Douglas Macmillan, who had lost his father to cancer and saw a great need for people affected by the disease to receive vital advice and information. As a result, he founded the ‘Society for the Prevention and Relief of Cancer’. The charity has since become the UK’s leading cancer support charity.
Dale will be running the Chester Half Marathon on Saturday 28th April 2018. Starting and finishing from Chester Racecourse, the half marathon is an extremely popular event in the fundraising calendar year.
We would be very grateful if you could help Dale to reach his goal of raising £500.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and all funds raised will go towards supporting the fantastic work that Macmillan Cancer Research carry out across the UK, on a daily basis.
Good luck Dale!
