Neil-Ops-Manager-Article-Pic

Name

Neil

Job title

Operations Manager

Talk me through a typical day in the office/work for you?

Umm a typical day… my role is really all about identifying areas for change and improvement.  I’m usually looking at processes, how they work and developing and implementing changes.

What is your favourite part of the job?

It has to be the varied nature of the job.  No two days are the same and that keeps things interesting.

If you didn’t work at Exchequer Solutions what would be your dream job?

It would have to be something in the music industry.  I’m a massive music fan and I know I’m too old to be a footballer so definitely something music related.  I just love music and have very varied taste so it would be great to work in the industry and get paid for doing something I love.

Where would your ideal holiday be and why?

Not sure where but it would definitely be somewhere peaceful and tranquil where I could really escape and get away from it all.   I’d need a massive stereo though so I could turn the music up really loud and not disturb anyone.  I’ve got over 12000 songs on my iPod so I’d just listen to loads of music, anything from the Beatles to the Smiths and Kate Bush and Pink Floyd.

Now for the quick fire round…

Tea or coffee?

Tea

Crisps or chocolate?

Both! If pushed I guess it would have to be chocolate.

Beer or wine?

Neither, vodka preferably with coke.

A weekend in the country or a city break?

Country

Rugby or football?

Football

Early morning or late nights?

Early mornings

Pub or wine bar?

Pub

Now for your perfect breakfast sandwich would it be sausage or bacon on bread or toast with brown or red sauce?

Sausage and bacon (greedy!) on white bread.  No sauce.
